Are you all familiar with ‘D: Garden (indicated as ⫏: GARDEN)’, a space for rest and communication as well as an exhibition hall for Samsung Display? Since its recent relaunch, ⫏: GARDEN, located in the Asan 2 campus, has quickly become a must-see landmark for visitors as well as employees of Samsung Display. Let us take you through every corner of ⫏: GARDEN, reopened after undergoing extensive renovation throughout this summer.

⫏: GARDEN, A Place for Connection and Laughter

⫏: GARDEN is special for two reasons. First, it is ‘open’ to everyone. Samsung Display always had an exhibition hall, but the doors were only opened ively for special visitors. This has now been transformed into an open space for all Samsung Display employees, they can enjoy their break and connect with their colleagues.

The second reason why it is special lies in its name, ⫏: GARDEN. Selected numerous candidates sent in by Samsung Display employees, the name is an outcome of the ‘participation’ of the Samsung Display family. Symbolizing the active engagement of the employees, the name was inspired by an imaginary garden people can relax and communicate with their colleagues. The official logo, ⫏: GARDEN, has the letter “D” flipped to represent the smiles on the faces of people gathered in this garden.
