SEOUL, JULY 29, 2024 – Samsung Display announced today that its next-generation OLED technologies will be featured in Krafton’s upcoming life simulation game, ‘inZOI’, set to release later this year.

The in-game items feature products previously seen at multiple global expos, including the S-shaped-folding Flex S™, the inward-folding Flex G™, the 12.4-inch Rollable Flex™, the two-way expanding 17.3-inch Slidable Flex Duet™, the Flex In&Out™, and the Flex Note™.

Notably, Samsung’s OLED Headphones, lauded at MWC 2024, will appear in the game, allowing direct music app control. The Round OLED, which displays weather and doubles as a mirror with an integrated camera, and a smart speaker doubling as a tablet, will also appear in inZOI.

Krafton’s major new release, inZOI, allows players to shape the world as they wish to experience various stories. Its realistic graphics and highly customizable characters have already drawn global attention.

“inZOI uses generative AI technology to integrate user-controlled NPCs, enhancing the virtual world’s realism. Incorporating Samsung Display’s innovative products has improved the gaming experience,” said a Krafton official.

Hojung Lee, Head of Product Planning Team for the Small and Medium-sized Display Division at Samsung Display, said, “This collaboration provides a unique chance to showcase Samsung Display’s cutting-edge products and allows players to experience the various uses and features in an in-game environment.”

In partnership with Krafton, Samsung Display will showcase these next-generation products at the Gamescom 2024, Europe’s largest trade fair for the computer and video gaming industry, taking place August 21–25 in Cologne, Germany.
