SEOUL, April 29, 2025 – Samsung Display today announced a new Brand Identity (BI) for its QD-OLED technology, a cutting-edge innovation in premium TVs and monitors. The company plans to trademark a new QD-OLED logo, underscoring its commitment to superior display solutions.

The new BI visually represents the letter “Q” from QD-OLED, incorporating a blue color that represents blue OLED technology and a gradient effect representing QD-OLED’s distinctive wide color spectrum.

Introduced in late 2021, QD-OLED technology has been incorporated into over 170 products, including TVs and monitors from global companies such as Samsung Electronics, Sony, Dell, MSI, ASUS, and HP all renowned for their superior display quality. Today, QD-OLED boasts more than 99% DCI-P3 and 90% BT2020 coverage, which are key data indicating one of the widest range of color expression among display technologies while accurately conveying creators’ intent.

QD-OLED leverages the superior black expressions of proven OLED technology, enhanced by the optical characteristics of quantum dots, resulting in richer color reproduction and distortion-free viewing from any angle. The new BI reflects QD-OLED’s exceptional image quality, effectively connecting us with clients and consumers while highlighting the technology’s unique value.

Samsung Display plans to actively promote its new BI through collaboration with various global clients, showcasing it at major exhibitions and incorporating it into product packaging.
