 SEOUL, August 21, 2025 - Samsung Display announced today that it is collaborating with the global gaming company SEGA to showcase a QD-OLED Experience Zone at Gamescom 2025, Hall 7, held from August 20–24 in Cologne, Germany. At the SEGA booth, visitors can experience the vivid image quality of Samsung Display’s QD-OLED panel while playing SEGA’s upcoming title ‘Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds,’ set for global release next month.

 

To bring the experience to life, Samsung Display has partnered with Dell and MSI to install 50 monitors featuring its 32-inch 4K QD-OLED display, offering Gamescom attendees a firsthand look at the cutting-edge gaming performance enabled by QD-OLED technology.

  

Among the featured models, Alienware’s AW3225QF is the world’s first 4K QD-OLED gaming monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate, making it ideal for both PC and console gaming. Dell’s S3225QC is optimized for console play with AI-enhanced 3D spatial audio, while MSI’s MAG321UP, equipped with OLED Care 2.0 technology, ensures a stable and reliable gaming experience.

  

All monitors on display are VESA certified to Display HDR™ True Black 400, offering exceptional black levels, contrast, and vibrant color reproduction powered by Samsung Display’s proprietary Quantum Dot (QD) technology. The combination of lifelike image quality and stunning color expression brings players deeper into the game world.

  

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is a kart racing battle game featuring iconic characters from the Sonic series. Players can mix and match vehicles and characters for dynamic, action-packed gameplay, while vividly rendered tracks deliver an unmatched racing experience.
