Bezel Location Active Area Bezel Bezel A bezel is the border surrounding the active area, where the image is displayed. It contains the wiring and circuits that drive the pixels. Depending on the panel structure, it may also house a driver IC* or connect to an FPCB*. *Driver IC: A semiconductor chip used to drive each pixel. *FPCB: A thin, flexible circuit board that transmits electrical signals and connects components within a display module.
Bezel Structure Active Area Bezel Emissive Layer(EL) Cathode TFE TFT Circuit A narrower bezel allows for a larger active area without significantly increasing the product size. This requires panel designs that integrate wiring, driving circuits, and bonding structures into a smaller area. Technologies such as high-density wiring and improved driver IC bonding structures help make efficient use of the limited space.
